PEDIATRICIAN

PART TIME (24 HOURS PER WEEK)

WHITNEY PEDIATRICS, HAMDEN, CT

About Us:

Whitney Pediatrics is an urban/suburban practice with a multicultural and varied patient base. The practice was founded in 1953 in New Haven. Many of our patients are 3rd generation adding a true family-centered feel to our practice. We care for many patients with complex medical problems, allowing us to continue our skills managing complex medical illnesses. We also have a case management approach to all of our patients.

Due to our close proximity to Yale University and Quinnipiac University, we have many university connections including medical students who rotate through our office from both medical schools. In addition, we have Yale Pediatric Residents and Nurse Practitioner Students who spend their clinical rotations in our practice. Our pediatricians also have Yale clinical faculty status.

We are seeking a licensed, board certified Pediatrician who has experience working with children of all ages and various medical conditions.  The ideal candidate is flexible, knowledgeable and a compassionate physician who is seasoned in the care and well-being of children in our community. The successful candidate will provide primary medical care, consult with specialists.   This is an excellent opportunity to work within a warm, caring community practice where the health of our children is top priority.

To be part of our organization, every employee should understand and share in the YNHHS Vision, support our Mission, and live our Values. These values—integrity, patient-centered, respect, accountability, and compassion—must guide what we do, as individuals and professionals, every day.
