    The HCC/Value Program Manager, under the direction of the Director of Value-based Programs, leads all activities associated with HCC coding at NEMG in order to optimize revenue in shared savings and risk arrangements. Duties may include development of education programs for providers, organizing seminars, webinars and other training through internal or external trainers, working with payers to obtain risk reports and recapturing reports to then operationalize work plans to improve accurate diagnostic coding. Provides materials and analysis to the Director in order to build strategy for improving accurate HCC capture and develops, manages and monitors action plans. The Program Manager will work collaboratively with Health Plans and assure appropriate submission of data to CMS and HSS to improve overall accuracy of HCCs. Under the direction of the Director of Value-based Program, the HCC/Value Program Manager is responsible for day-to-day oversight of specific defined functional areas as defined within role responsibilities as outlined below

      • 1.1 Oversight of NEMG and associated payer programs that promote accurate and complete documentation of patient acute and chronic conditions.
    • 2. Leadership
      • 2.1 Effectively and professionally communicates and interacts with NEMG clinician and administrative staff.
    • 3. Compliance
      • 3.1 In collaboration with Compliance, assures documentation that meets regulatory standards

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION


    Bachelors in Healthcare or Finance. Masters in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred. Trained on HCC Coding.


    EXPERIENCE


    Minimum five years in healthcare environment


    SPECIAL SKILLS


    Excellent interpersonal, coordinative, customer service, teamwork, and organizational skills.

    Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team and administration.

    Ability to multitask is essential.

    Able to function well in a matrixed environment.
